Really Google, Really?

Hey folks.

This is just an update. I'm a bit annoyed, The moment my Adsense account gets near the $100 needed for Google to pay me, They suddenly disable my account and claim its because of False Activity. All I can say is this. Really Google, Really ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)?

On a related note, Even with my Account being disabled, I'll keep up with the Blogging, Just for the sake of having something to do, Even though The funds from Adsense were going to help with Game reviews, as games require money. Another side note: I may do a text based review of Modern Warfare 3 In a bit after I play it and beat it. At least on the Single Player portion of it, as I am not one to give good reviews to most of the CoD series Multiplayer 'Adventures' I have.

Thats all for now folks, Cheers!

Stardate Wednesday November Second, 2011

Yes. The title is something that Cheesy.

Hello folks, if you read this blog. I may be a gamer, but I'm not a big fan of Preordering or Buying games that will last me a good.... Oh, 9 hours?

But that will change, as For once I'll be preordering Skyrim in the near future.

On a less 'me' related note, Its a bit late, but Happy Halloween. I hope you had enough Candy or Booze on the 31st last month.

So. On the Agenda for this month most likely: A review of Skyrim. I dont know if it will be a video Review, Because I'm always busy working on various stupid Ideas and designs, but if its possible, I'll do it. The other Agenda's Are most likely a review for Lord of the Rings: A war in the north, As well as a few other games.

And dont Forget, If you wish for more Reviews/Etc, Feel free to help me get the games for them, By clicking the button below, listed as "Hats for Fat People"

In terms of....

In the friendly terms of evil, I have to say... Dont care. I'm Evil.

Now anyways folks, This week has been a boring one. No new games being released, No new anything really. In terms of Finding a job, and various things like that, I merely scoff at the fact I applied, and failed once more in this hellhole known as Job searching.

Well Folks, until next time, Possibly if you comment on something you'd like to hear about, Cheers.

The good, The Bad, and The..... Sexy Part 2

Alright, in the first part, I spoke about Fate a small bit, and in this post, I'll be talking about Destiny, which is similar to Fate, but not exactly the same.

Des·ti·ny

[des-tuh-nee] Show IPA
–noun, plural -nies.
1.
something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing; lot or fortune.
2.
the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.
3.
the power or agency that determines the course of events.
4.
( initial capital letter ) this power personified or represented as a goddess.
5.
the Destinies, the Fates.
------
Now, Destiny, Strikingly similar to Fate, but in my Eyes, I see them differently. I believe Fate is something that you cannot deny, and you must follow it no matter what. But in that sense, I dont believe in fate.
Destiny, however, I believe is a different story. I believe destiny is just like a prophecy that you can avoid.

The good, The Bad, and The..... Sexy Part 1

Don't let the title confuse you. It has nothing to do with what I'm posting right now.

Now lets see. A rant-blog for today... Ah. lets try "Destiny" and "Fate".

To start. If you believe in destiny, and fate, Does that mean you have already given up your free will, and plan to do everything on whim, believing its the will of the above?

Now, let me clarify. I dont believe in Fate, and Destiny. I do however believe in following ones own gut feelings.

Lets get into the literals now.

Fate

[feyt] Show IPA noun, verb, fat·ed, fat·ing.
–noun
1.
something that unavoidably befalls a person; fortune; lot: It is always his fate to be left behind.
2.
the universal principle or ultimate agency by which the order of things is presumably prescribed; the decreed cause of events; time: Fate decreed that they would never meet again.
3.
that which is inevitably predetermined; destiny: Death is our ineluctable fate.
EXPAND
–verb (used with object)
7.
to predetermine, as by the decree of fate; destine (used in the passive): a person who was fated to be the savior of the country.
Origin:
1325–75; Middle English  < Latin fātum  utterance, decree of fate, destiny, orig. neuter of fātus,  past participle of fārī  to speak

fate, fete (see synonym note at the current entry ).

1.  karma, kismet; chance, luck. Fate, destiny, doom  refer to the idea of a fortune, usually adverse, that is predetermined and inescapable. The three words are frequently interchangeable. Fate  stresses the irrationality and impersonal character of events: It was Napoleon's fate to be exiled.  The word is often lightly used, however: It was my fate to meet her that very afternoon. Destiny  emphasizes the idea of an unalterable course of events, and is often used of a propitious fortune: It was his destiny to save his nation. Doom  especially applies to the final ending, always unhappy or terrible, brought about by destiny or fate: He met his doom bravely. 7.  foreordain, preordain.

--

Now. Lets look at some of the specifics listed in that, such as "predetermined and inescapable".

I dont know about any of you who read this, but why would you want to have an inescapable, predetermined life? I personally would want to live a life that I choose, Not a life that is chosen for me.
If I wished to live a life with something else controlling me, I would just go research a time machine, and go back in time and enter the slavery Era. No, not the American-African American Slavery Era. I mean even further back, when everyone, of any skin color, could be a slave. To have ones own life be controlled by someone else is nothing more than a nightmare in my eyes. I believe people should live freely, and live as they want.

I may add more to this rant in further blogs, so until then.

Cheers,
Gage

Old Consoles Versus New Consoles

Just as the title states, This blog is mostly about the Older Generation of Gaming consoles, Such as the Old Super Nintendo, And Nintendo 64, compared to the Xbox 360, And the Sony PS3.

To start off, I would like to talk about the Xbox 360. I'm saddened to say, its Disk management system, is for a lack of any worthy terms, a "Fail". If you have your Xbox set up vertically, while playing a game, and it tilts just SLIGHTLY, your disk is as good as gone. That is one of my major problems with the Xbox 360.

Now. To the Playstation 3. Frankly, I originally loved the PS3, until the day My Power supply broke. I opted to buy a new power supply, and replaced it, figuring that since I did not have a warranty, It would not matter.

Within the next month, the Fan itself burned out, so I said "Figures, with my luck", and then replaced that aswell. But, as it seems, Sony seems to ahte me, because about two months after that, the Bluray dry bit it, like the other parts.

By this point, I said forget it, and Sent it in for repairs at the cost of $150, and figured it would last me a few years after that. Six weeks later, I get my PS3 back, working and all shiny. So I play it a bit. 90 Days pass, the new Warranty ends, and on Day 91, The heat sink, or motherboard fails. Need I say more?

Lets skip to my Nintendo 64 Console shall we?

I've had my Nintendo for quite a few years, and apart from some yellowing due to time passing by, It still works like a charm, apart from the dust blowing every so often.

Motto of this Rant? Older Consoles were made to last.

A new start

Greetings

My name is Gage, and I used to write various blogs years ago.  While I've been away from the writing scene for a few years, I decided I would get back into it, and as such, I plan to start writing about various things that come to mind as I think of them. Such topics include Gaming, Life, History, Religion (Well, my views on it), Movies, books, and things like that. Until next time.

Cheers,
Gage
